Casa Rural Monteguerra treasures the essence of a typical La Mancha mansion, having undergone a careful restoration. This country house combines rustic architecture with modern comfortable installations to guarantee an authentic and cosy escape. 10 double rooms, renovated with extreme care and endowed with exquisite decoration and comfort, one of them adapted for use by people with reduced mobility. It is surrounded by 250 ha. of protected holm oak trees co-existing with a rural and hunting estate. We also offer other services to make the stay more comfortable. Meals on request for guests staying in the house, from breakfast to dinner.
Monteguerra sits on the now disappeared “Casa de la Tía”, a traditional Manchega work house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The restoration that Monteguerra has undergone has retained the original architecture. The original walls built with stones from the area have been reinforced, and the wooden roof structure and curved roof tile have been preserved. Both the entrance and main staircase are kept as in the old days, the same goes for the patio. The lime of its facades and indigo blue of the base are clear examples of popular Manchega architecture remembering Cervantes inns.
Monteguerra is an authentic place where even Don Quixote himself would have made a break for Rocinante and his loyal Sancho to rest and to have lunch before marching towards a new adventure, maybe fighting again the “giants” not too far away from here.

10 luxury rooms, all of them unique, keeping the personality of the old mansion, remembering the inns where Don Quixote had rest. They have been renovated with extreme care and endowed with exquisite decoration and comfort. These are truly relaxing spaces, with utmost care in the design of lighting and silence, turning them into veritable temples of tranquility from where you can enjoy the views of the Manchego landscape, ideal for enjoying a scape.

A 300 sqm lounge, with a fireplace. A cozy atmosphere that invites you to spend hours over a nice conversation at the firelight.
An ideal space for leisure. The kitchen, carefully integrated into the lounge, allows you to enjoy meetings with family and friends.
COURTYARD & GARDEN
Centre to this country house lays the Encina Courtyard, recalling the sobriety of the old Cervantine Inn. This central courtyard with wooden porch and visible tiles, is ideal for a relaxing time or to arrange outdoor games.
A 1000 sqm garden with children area. A place to hold active tourism activities such as climbing wall, paint ball-laser tag, stargazing... a vast range of experiences to brak away from the routine.
